Toddler Book Review: Personalised Books!

Wot So Funee?

This is not strictly a #funee post, but it is the first proper written piece of work the Bug has produced. We have read and reviewed several books on Actually Mummy in recent weeks, but this is our first toddler book review. The Bug was given a personalised book and he was so excited that he wanted to write his own review! You can see that he got fed up after a while (either that much is obvious or you’re thinking that he’s a very quick learner!) but for a first effort I’m pretty proud. See what you make of it:

"Personalised Toddler Book Review"Translations:

  • Too Many Monsters, a personalised story from findmeagift.com
  • I like Grump because he looks funny (see – all kids write #funee!)
  • My favourite part was when Grump got sent to the Boss’s office

What I like most about these personalised books is that it features the Bug and two of his friends, on a mission to stop monsters waking them up in the night. For anyone who suffers from monster nightmares, this is a cool book that shows us that even monsters have to behave well for their Grandma’s!

Wot So Funee? The Bug is just starting out on his writing journey. If you have written something cool this week, make sure it gets remembered: put it on your blog so you can see it when you’re grown up! Then come and link it up here. If you fancy adding the #funee badge you can copy the code from the bottom of the page here.

We were sent this book free of charge for review purposes, but the opinions are all  our own. Please note that there is an image of a monster smoking a cigar in this book, so you may consider it unsuitable for your family.

  1. Well done Bug! That’s fab! Took me back to my teaching days. Bob’s a bit young for me to post her writing but think it’s a lovely idea to post their work! Great way of keeping it forever! Will have to remember that.
